When we say we do it right when it comes to gutter installation, we mean it. And that means taking all the necessary steps and customizations to make sure your gutter system fits perfectly. Because without a proper fit, that can only mean your gutter system will not work at 100%.

Oftentimes a home will require certain accommodations during a gutter system installation. Those may include adjusting uneven surfaces and installing what we call shadow boards to ensure your gutter system does its job properly and allowing for proper venting.

On many homes, the shadow board of the home may be wide but at the same time has a shorter fascia surface to work with. To properly secure your new gutter system, we may be required to install adder boards to provide the proper support for sturdy installation. In short, adder boards provide additional support for your gutter system.

Your gutter installation may require blocks-What are they?

Another method we use here at Alo Seamless Gutters to ensure proper installation is to use what we call PVC blocks. These are essentially spacers that are mounted behind your new gutters to extend the gutter outward. Blocks are commonly used when we find a wide roof edge venting.
