Joe’s dedication and hard work propelled him to the role of Assistant Production Manager at a $4 million precision sheet metal fabrication company. There, he oversaw daily production and contributed to projects for major clients such as Raytheon, Lockheed Sanders, GTE, and Sikorsky Aircraft. In the early 1990s, a decline in defense contracting and company reorganization led Joe to explore new opportunities. He transitioned into a corporate role as a Purchasing Agent for Rockport Shoe Co. Joe quickly climbed the ranks to become a Global Sourcing Director for Reebok/Rockport, demonstrating his adaptability and leadership skills. Despite his success in corporate America, Joe yearned for more control over his professional and personal life. At 39, Joe decided to pursue his dream of owning his own business, aiming to create a better work-life balance and spend more time with his family, especially during the winter months. Around this time, tragedy struck when his father passed away suddenly at the age of 57. In the midst of his grief, Joe found solace working outdoors with a local family-owned business in Marlborough. An unexpected opportunity arose when several seamless gutter companies in the area closed, leaving a void in the market. Taking a leap of faith, Joe founded Alo Seamless Gutters LLC. Over the years, his company has grown into a trusted name in the industry, known for its commitment to quality, honesty, and exceptional customer service. Today, Joe co-owns the business with his wife, Regina, and receives part-time support from his daughter, Julia, who assists with office operations while completing her studies at UMass Amherst.
